LOUISVILLE, Ky. - The No. 9/6 University of Louisville swimming and diving team swept the visiting Cincinnati Bearcats. The women won 207-81 and the men prevailed 235-64.Â

The Cardinals were powered by multiple event winners led by Finnley Conklin sweeping both breast events as well as his win as part of the 200-medley relay. Thilda Häll won the 1650 and 500 free to complete the distance sweep. Nikita Sheremet won the 100 free and was on both winning relays. Anastasia Gorbenko turned in the winning times in the 200 free and 200 back.Â

UofL will return home to host the Louisville Invitational at Ralph Wright Natatorium on February 5-6.

The foursome of Camille Murray (24.93), Ella Welch (30.01), Caroline Larsen (20.34) and Julie Mishler (21.43) put up the winning time of 1:36.71 in the 200-medley relay for the Cardinals. The Louisville men's A-relay team of Rian Graham (21.42), Conklin (23.57), Aiden Musso (19.98) and Sheremet (18.39) combined forces to board a 1:23.96 and a Division I qualifying time.Â

In the grueling 1650 freestyle, Häll pulled away to win in 16:10.35 for a D1 mark and finished 37 seconds ahead of the field. In the men's mile, UofL's Tommy Bried touched first, clocking in at 15:11.04. Teammate Max Hatcher was second in 15:15.03 and Kayden Lancaster completed the top three sweep with a 15:25.20.Â

In the 200 freestyle, UofL's Gorbenko hit the wall first, finishing in 1:43.27, holding off teammate Daria Golovaty, who went 1:44.47. Julia Dennis was third in 1:48.20 for the sweep. In the men's 200 free, Gregg Enoch put up the fastest time, touching in 1:35.84, just edging Sheremet (1:36.16) and Oscar Isberg (1:36.19) who dueled down the stretch for second and third.Â

In the 100 backstroke, Murray got an NCAA cut with the winning time of 52.21. Mishler was second (53.20) and Xeniya Ignatova was third (53.21) for the sweep. Jackson Millard led the way in the men's event with a time of 46.78 and Charlie Crush was second (47.10).Â

UC's Joleigh Crye won the 100 breast with a 58.70 and UofL's Anna Inagaki was second with the time of 1:01.15. Conklin led the Louisville 1-2-3 sweep with a 53.39 just ahead of Grant Gooding (54.45) and Jake Eccleston (54.56).Â

In the 200 fly, Cardinal Summer Cardwell took top honors with the winning time of 1:58.50. For the men, Aidan Paro was into the wall first with a 1:43.87 with UofL teammate Thomas Powers-Hammond touching second in 1:45.72 with both times making the NCAA cut.Â

The three senior sprinters swept the top three spots in the 50 freestyle, led by Dennis (21.86), with fellow seniors Abby Karl and Karoline Barrett tying for second with a 22.88. Guy Brooks left the field in his wake with a 19.70 in the men's 50. Graham was second (19.82) and Ethan Chauliaguet was third (19.86).Â

Coming out of the break, Welch won the 100 free, posting a 48.89 to lead the Cardinal sweep. Golovaty (49.18) and Mishler (49.50) completed the sweep. Sheremet stopped the clock at 42.46 to win the men's 100 free with Matias Santiso touching second in 43.67 and Bryan Lombardi into the wall third (43.94).Â

In diving, UC's Langley Petersen won platform with a score of 238.73. Audree Brazeau-Howes was second in 227.85 and Samantha Keith scored 222.30 for third for UofL. UC's Ramez Diaa won the men's platform with a mark of 372.38 followed by UofL's Ray Preas' 362.48, Rayce Winn's 316.73 and Mack Molloy's 276.75. In 1M, Winn won with a 376.28 just edging teammate Molloy's 376.05 with both scores breaking the school record. Keith won the 3M with a zone cut mark of 288.68.Â

In the 200 back, Gorbenko threw down a 1:52.53 for the win for the Cards and teammate Sadie Murphy was second (1:59.53). Filip Kosinski won the men's 200 back, with a D1 qualifying time of 1:41.03 with fellow Cardinal Nate Thomas touching second in 1:43.05. Drew Collins was fourth, turning in a 1:46.99.Â

Card senior Kim Herkle pulled away from the 200-breaststroke field to post the D1 qualifying time of 2:09.71 for the win with Inagaki touching second in 2:14.61. Conklin won the men's event for Louisville with a time of 1:55.88, beating teammate Ryder Hicks' 1:57.10.Â

Larsen won the 100 fly with a 52.92 and Barrett was second in 54.03 for the Cardinals. In the men's event, Graham put up a 46.08 for the win and an NCAA D1 cut. Brooks was second for UofL, stopping the clock at 47.37 and Lombardi was third in 47.47.Â

In the 500 free, Häll turned in the top time of 4:43.51 for the win and a D1 mark. Ignatova touched second in 4:48.13 and Leticia Fassina Romao was third in 4:48.99 to complete the sweep. Louisville's Owen Stevens won the men's 500 with a time of 4:21.99 with Lancaster touching third in 4:36.54.Â

In the 200 IM, Ignatova was under the 2-minute mark, posting a 1:59.58 with Murphy touching second in 2:03.32. Millard won the men's 200 IM with a time of 1:45.61 to lead the sweep, finishing just ahead of Paro (1:46.93) and Collins (1:48.60).Â

In the 200 free relay, Welch (22.36), Dennis (20.93), Barrett (22.31) and Abby Karl (22.24) went 1:27.84 for a D1 qualifying time in the all senior relay. The foursome of Cardwell, Gorbenko, Herkle and Häll combined for a 1:29.94. On the men's side, UofL A-relay team of Sheremet (19.48), Crush (19.07), Musso (19.16) and Brooks (19.24) put up the winning time of 1:16.95.Â
