2025-26: At the NCAA Championships, Mishler led off the 200-yard medley relay that tied for silver with a 23.79 split, helping the team earn First Team All-American honors with a 1:32.35. She also swam the third leg of the 400-yard freestyle relay with a 47.40 split to help the team claim First Team All-American honors in seventh with a 3:08.28. Individually, Mishler placed 24th in the 50-yard freestyle (21.83), 28th in the 100-yard freestyle (48.02), and 31st in the 100-yard backstroke (52.01). At the ACC Championships, Mishler led off the gold medal 200-yard medley relay with a 23.73 split, helping the team claim All-ACC honors with a 1:32.26. She also swam the third leg of the silver medal 400-yard freestyle relay in a 47.52 split to help the squad notch All-ACC honors with a 3:08.14. She wrapped up relays swimming the third leg of the bronze medal 200-yard freestyle relay in a 21.33 split to help the team earn All-ACC honors with a 1:25.34. During the Dual Meet Season: In the meet versus Xavier, she competed in the 200-yard medley relay, with her team finishing second and earning a split of 25.53. She then competed in the 50-yard freestyle, finishing first with a time of 23.03. Then she swam in the 400-yard freestyle relay, finishing first and earning a split of 51.07. At the SMU Classic in Dallas, she swam in the 400-yard medley relay, where she placed first with a 52.59 split. She then competed in the 100-yard backstroke championship heat where she finished second with a time of 52.46. She moved onto the 200-yard medley relay, garnering a first-place finish with a 24.38 split. She then competed in the 200-yard freestyle relay, where her team placed first, and she swam a split of 22.00. After that she competed in the 200-yard butterfly, where she finished first in the consolation heat with a time of 1:56.63. In their meet against Notre Dame, she helped her team to a first-place finish in the 200-yard medley relay with an overall time of 1:34.30. She then competed in the 100-yard backstroke, taking first place with a time of 52.65. Then in the 400-yard freestyle relay she helped her team to a first-place finish with an overall time of 3:11.14. At the Ohio State Invite, she took third in the 100-yard backstroke (51.90), fourth in the 50-yard freestyle (22.09), and fourth in the 100-yard freestyle (47.61). She also helped the 200-yard medley relay (23.88 split, 1:33.69 overall) and 200-yard freestyle relay (21.34 split, 1:25.36 overall) take first. In their meet against Missouri, she helped her team to a first-place finish in the 200-yard medley relay with an overall time of 1:34.69, where she swam a split of 24.34. Later, she competed in the 50-yard freestyle, where she recorded a time of 22.22 to finish third. She then swam in the 100-yard freestyle, where she finished second with a time of 49.24. Against the University of Cincinnati, Mishler finished first in the 200-yard medley relay with a split of 21.43. She also finished second in the 100-yard backstroke with a time of 53.20. Mishler completed the 100-yard freestyle, placing third, with a 49.50 time. Finally, she swam exhibition in the 200-yard freestyle relay with a 22.53 split.
Prep: Julie comes to the Ville from Milford, Indiana where she swam for the Fishers Area Swimming Tigers (FAST) and Coach Joe Keller. She swam for Wawasee High School for Coach Jason Scott. At Wawasee, she set a national high school record of 21.56 in the 50 free, breaking Olympian Gretchen Walsh's mark from 2020. She was the No. 3-ranked class of 2025 recruit in Indiana. At the US Summer Championships in Irvine, Calif., she swam to another lifetime best in the 50M freestyle, touching in a 24.90 to win the event. This marked her first time under the 25-second mark and moved her up to No.10 all-time in the 17-18 age group. Mishler posted a 25.00 to win the event at Summer Juniors, also in Irvine, which moved her to be tied for No.11 all-time in the age group. Prior to Summer Juniors, Mishler’s lifetime best was a 25.06 from 2024 US Olympic Trials, where she finished 24th in the 50M free, and 334d in the 100M backstroke (1:01.96). . In February of 2025, Mishler won two IHSAA state titles in the 50-yard freestyle and 100-yard freestyle. She won the 50 freestyle in 21.87 seconds and set a new IHSAA state meet record in the 100 freestyle with 47.86 seconds, breaking her own state record that she previously set in prelims at the 2025 IHSAA Girls Swimming and Diving Championships in Indianapolis. At the 2025 World Aquatics Junior Swimming Championships in Otopeni, Romania, she won gold in the 4x100M Medley Relay and the 4x100 Mixed Free Relay as a prelim swimmer. While in Romania, she also finished 16th in the 50M backstroke semifinals with a time of 28.98 and was ninth in the 100 backstroke semifinals, going 1:00.65. She won the TYR Pro Championships in Irvine in the 50M free (24.90). At the 2025 USA Swimming National Championships in Indianapolis, she was 11th in the 50M backstroke (28.13), 14th in the 50M free (25.08) and 15th in the 100M backstroke (1:00.65).
