Gorbenko Earns First Team All-American Honors to Close Day 2 of NCAAs

ATLANTA – University of Louisville swimmer Anastasia Gorbenko earned her third All-American honors of the meet in the 100 breaststroke final with a time of 57.56 as the Cardinal women stand in eighth place as a team after day two of the 2026 NCAA Division I Women's Swimming and Diving Championships at Georgia Tech's McAuley Aquatic Center in Atlanta.
UofL's 79 points trails Virginia (249), Texas (183), Stanford (173), Tennessee (158.5), California (133), Michigan (132), and Indiana (128).
Gorbenko claimed a fourth-place time of 57.56 to secure First Team All-American honors in a competitive 100 breast A-final. NC State's two-time Olympian Eneli Jefimova won the event at 56.30, while Tennessee's McKenzie Siroky and Florida's Anita Bottazzo tied for second at 57.00.
Friday's events include the 100 back, 200 breast, 500 free, 50 free, 400 medley relay, and three-meter diving. Prelims are set for 10 a.m. ET with finals slated for 6 p.m. ET Live results will be available on the Meet Mobile app and DiveMeets, and the meet will be streamed on ESPN+.
