Prep: Owen comes to the Ville from Zeeland Michigan, where he swam for West Michigan Swimmers (WMS) Club for Coach Drew Scheerhorn, who also coached him at Zeeland West High School. In 2024, Stevens was named to the Michigan Interscholastic Swim Coaches Association (MISCA) Dream Team with the fastest 500 freestyle from across Michigan’s divisions during the high school season.He won Michigan Division I state titles in the 200 IM (1:49.68) and 500 free (4:27.48) in March, successfully defending his titles in both events. At the 2023 Michigan Division I State Championships, he won teh 500 free (4:30.81) and the 200 IM (1:50.76). He also won bronze in the 200 Medley Relay (1:34.96) and the 400 free relay (3:09.49). At the 2025 TYR Pro Championships in Irvine, Calif., he was 14th in the 200M back, and 17th in the 400M IM (4:30.26).

Personal: He is the son of Sara and Craig Stevens. Born Oct. 5, 2006. Major is mechanical engineering.
