LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- During Day 2 of the Louisville Invitational, swimmers from Louisville, Kentucky and Vanderbilt vied for the final spots on their respective conference championships squad.

In the 200 freestyle, Caroline Larsen turned in a 1:46.6 for the win. Amelia Bodenstab was second in 1:49.51 and Sadie Murphy went 2:03.26 for the Cardinals. In the men's 200 free, Matias Santiso led the Cardinal sweep with a 1:35.82. Thomas Powers-Hammond was second (1:37.41) and Filip Kosinski was third in 1:39.17.

In the 400 IM, Owen Stevens stopped the clock at 3:55.09.

The 200 medley relay team of Rian Graham (21.57), Finnley Conklin (24.00), Aiden Musso (20.02) and Nikita Sheremet (1:24.41) set a meet record with a 1:24.41.

In the 100 butterfly, Karoline Barrett clocked in at 53.81 for the win, edging Sophia Rodriguez (54.57) and Julia Dennis (55.02). Â In the men's 100 fly, Aidan Paro (46.28) edged out Bryan Lombardi (46.85) for the win.

In the 200 breaststroke, Ryder Hicks went 1:56.44 for the win.

In the 100 backstroke, Drew Collins with a 47.20 with Nate Thomas in hot pursuit, touching second in 47.87. Camille Murray won the women's 100 backstroke with a time of 52.96.

Ella Welch won the 50 freestyle with a 22.30 to set a meet record. Abby Karl was second, boarding a 23.14. Ethan Chauliaguet won the men's 50 free with a 19.93 and Rob Ehrenborg touching in 20.38.
