LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- Competition continues at the Louisville Invitational as the University of Louisville swimming and diving team work to improve qualifying times heading into the postseason. Â
In the 400 IM, Jackson Millard turned in a 3:42.75 for an NCAA B-standard swim.

Summer Cardwell boarded a 1:45.73 in the 200 freestyle to go under the B-standard for that event. In the men's 200 freestyle Matias Santiso swam a 1:34.25 for the win, edging Jack Haywood, who touched in 1:37.36.

Caroline Larsen won the 100 butterfly, checking in a 52.80 ahead of Miami's Carly Lahr (55.45) and Jory Richardson (56.11). In the men's 100 fly, Aiden Musso won with a time of 46.24 with Thomas Powers-Hammond touching in 46.94 just ahead of Mateo Miceli's 47.18. .

In the 200 breaststroke, Jake Eccleston put up the winning time of 1:54.36 with Luke Shourds touching in 1:57.06. UK's Murilo Amatuzzi posted a time of 1:58.03 for third.

Camille Murray had the fastest time in the 100 back with a 52.83. Miami's Tayla Jonker was second in 1:09.65. Â On the men's side, Drew Collins put up a 47.24 for the win.

Avery Karl led the 50 free, putting up the winning time of 22.87 with Bianca Costea (23.14) touching second for the Cardinals. In the men's 50 free, UofL's Ethan Chauliaguet's 19.83 edged Aiden Musso's 19.88 in a dramatic finish. Rob Ehrenborg was third in 20.33, beating out UK's Alec Lampen (20.72).
In diving, Lindsay Gizzi won the 1-meter board with a 295.43 and Grace Leonard was second with a mark of 265.35.Che Stephens scored 322.95 on the men's 1-meter. In the women's 3-meter, Kentucky's Avery Giese won with a mark of 274.58. Kristy Pfaff was second after scoring 263.70. In the men's 3-meter, Mack Molloy won with a score 353.10 for Louisville. Kentucky's Samuel Duncan was second in 343.13 and Gavin Hangwas third in 299.48. Louisville's Audree Brazeau-Howes won the platform with a score of 252.45. UK's Devyn Bishop and Abby Devereaux took second and third respectively. UofL's Samm Helmboldt was fourth with a 236.18. Ray Preas won the men's platform with a 364.20, Rayce Winn was second (336.08) and Noam Kulbak was third with a 327.23.Â
