
No. 10 Cardinals Set for NCAA Championships

13 swimmers and two divers begin competition on Wednesday evening

ATHENS, Ga. -- The No. 10-ranked University of Louisville women's swimming and diving team will compete in the 2024 NCAA Division I Championships Wednesday (March. 20) through Saturday (March 23) at the Jack Bauerle Pool at the Gabrielsen Natatorium in Athens, Georgia. A total of 13 swimmers and two divers will be representing UofL.
The 13 Cardinals are scheduled to participate in 21 individual events and two divers competing in a total of three events.UofL also qualified relay teams in all five events (200 medley, 800 free, 200 free, 400 medley and 400 free).

The Championships will be off the blocks beginning Wednesday with two relay finals beginning at 6 p.m. Thursday-Saturday will begin with prelims at 10 a.m. ET and finals at 6 p.m. ET each day. Results can be found here: Click
Gabi Albiero, Karoline Barrett, Summer Cardwell, Julia Dennisk, Fernanda Celidonio, Kim Herkle, Paige Hetrick, Lucy Mehraban, Christiana Regenauer, Rye Ulett, Tristen Ulett, Cecilia Viberg and Ella Welch advanced to the national championships based on their season-best times in 21 events. UofL divers Else Praasterink and Lindsay Gizzi joined the postseason competition after the NCAA Zone Qualifying to be held next week  and hosted by the Cardinals.
