Bio
2024-25:Â At the NCAA Championships in Seattle, Lucy placed 28th in the 50 free (22.08), 33rd in the in the 200 free (1:45.51) and 16th in the 100 free (48.04). She also anchored the 400 free relay with a split of 47.25 as the Cards placed third. At the ACC Championships in Greensboro, Lucy was 14th in the 50 free (22.05), 25th in the 200 free with a time of 1:46.70. She touched seventh in the 100 free final with a 48.05 and anchored the 400 free relay with a split of 47.90 to win silver.
2023-24:Â Lucy had a strong debut in her first year as a Cardinal, winning All-American honors as part of the 400 free relay that finished third to make the podium with a 3:09.08. She was 34th in the 200 free (1:45.51) and 19th in the 100 free (47.82). Â At the ACC Championships in Greensboro, she made the B-final in the 50 free where she finished 14th overall (22.52) and was 13th in the 20 free (1:46.44). She made the A-final in the 100 free, touching 9th in 48.09. She was part of the silver medal 400 free relay team that posted a 3:10.18. Â In the dual meet season, in her debut as a Card, she won the 100 and 200 freestyle against Xavier. Against Auburn, she was part of the winning 400 free relay and was third in both the 200 free (1:47.23) and the 100 free (49.55). Against Tennessee, she was third in the 50M free (25.57) and second in the 100M free (55.65). She was on the winning 400M free relay against the Vols, posting a 1:41.10 and fourth in the 200M medley relay (1:54.61). Against Notre Dame, she posted three wins: the 200 free (1:48.95), the 100 free (49.74) and was part of the winning 400 free relay team (3:21.77). In the meet with Missouri, she placed second in both the 100 free (49.11) and the 100 back (54.24) and was on the winning 400 free relay team (3:14.70). Â In the double dual meet with Indiana and Wisconsin, she was fifth in the 100 free (48.62) and helped the Cards to a fourth place in the 400 free relay (3:15.56). Â Swimming against Cincinnati, she was third in the 50 free (23.03) and had the fastest time in the 100 back (53.13).
Prep: Lucy Mehraban comes to the Derby City from Ann Arbor Michigan. At the 2023 Eric Namesnik Memorial Open, Mehraban won four of her five individual events, setting personal best times in all of them. Highlighting her schedule was the 50 freestyle, where she dropped over a second to post a time of 25.67. Mehraban’s swim marked a 2024 Olympic Trials cut, as well as a new Club Wolverine team record, erasing Allison Schmitt’s previous mark of 26.12. She also knocked over six seconds off her best in the 200 freestyle to record a 2:03.53, while in the 100 free she dropped over two seconds for a 56.28. Rounding out her victories was the 100 backstroke, where again set a best time of 1:03.28. She was a two-time bronze medalist in the 50 Free and 100 Free (LCM) at the Speedo Junior National Championships. She was the 2022 Michigan Division 1 State Champion in the 50 Free clocking a 23.07 and the 2022 Michigan Division 1 State runner up in the 100 Free (SCY) posting a time of 49.93.
