2024-25: Rye Ulett had a successful showing at the 2025 ACC Championships in Greensboro, NC. In the 200 backstroke, she qualified for the C-final with a preliminary time of 1:54.78 and going 1:53.44 in the finals. She finished 27th in the 200 I< (1:58.96), and 25th in the 100 back (53.71). At the 2025 NCAA Championships in Federal Way, Washington, Rye Ulett qualified in the 200 backstroke. In the preliminary heat, she swam a time of 1:53.93. She turned n a 1:59.31 in the 200 IM. During the dual meet season, Rye Ulett achieved several top-five finishes. Against Kentucky in January, she won the 200 back (1:55.39), and was fifth in the 100 back (54.08). Against Missouri, she was third in the 200 backstroke with a time of 1:57,16, fourth in the 200 free (1:48.57) and fourth in the 400 IM (4:20.71). In the meet against Cincinnati, she helped the 200 medley relay team touch second with a tie of 1:38.20 and was third in the 500 freestyle (4:54.69. Against Tennessee, she finished fifth in both the 100 back (55.11) and the 200 back (1:58.83). She had a tenth place finish in the 200 back with a tie of 1:57.89 at the Ohio State Invitational.
2023-24: Rye qualifief for the NCAAs in Athens, Ga. where she placed 43rd in the 200 IM (1:57.98), 36th in the 400 IM (4:13.92) and 29th in the 200 back (1:54.19). At the ACC Championships in Greensboro, she scored 47 points for the Cards. She made the A-final in the 400 IM, finishing eighth with a time of 4:17.78. She made the C-final in the 500 free, finishing 20th with a time of 4:48.97. She won the B-final of the 200 back with a time of 1:53.94. During the dual meet season, Rye won the 200 back and the 200 medley relay against Cincinnati. At the SMU Classic, she was third in the 500 free, second in the 800 free relay and eighth in both the 200 back and the 100 back. Against Tennessee, she was second in the 200M backstroke, and third in the 100M backstroke (1:02.95) and fourth in the 200M IM (2:21.18). Against Notre Dame, she was fourth in the 100 back (55.85), and fifth in both the 500 free (5:01.41) and the 200 IM (2:06.36). In the meet with Missouri, she won the 100 back (53.78) and was second in the 400 IM (4:16.41) and third in the 500 freestyle (4:52.22). Against rival Kentucky she was second in the 200 back (1:53.81) and the 200 medley relay (1:39.49) and fourth in the 100 back (53.74). In the double dual meet with Indiana and Wisconsin, she was sixth in the 100 back (54.26), seventh in the 400 IM (4:20.06) and eighth in the 200 back (1:56.88). Against Cincinnati, she won the 100 back (53.92), the 500 free (4:52.11) and the 400 I (4:14.68).
2022-23: Rye qualified for NCAAs for the second straight year. She boarded a 4:46.04 in the 500 free and a 4:12.80 in the 400 IM and 1:53.07 in the 200 backstroke. At ACCs, she made the B-final of the 500 free, where she posted a 4:45.59 to finish 13th. She was in the B-final of the 400 IM as well, touching 15th overall with a time of 4:14.44. She made the A-final of the 200 back with a fifth-place finish time of 1:52.24, with that time ranking her second in the school record book. In the dual meet season, she had a second-place finish in the 100 back versus Xavier and a second place in the 200 back against Tennessee. At the Purdue Invitational, she was second in the 400 IM and fourth in the 500 free. She was third in the 100 back against Missouri and third in the 200 back against Indiana.
2021-22: Rye Ulett joined the Cardinals in January and blasted off the blocks into her collegiate career, earning an Honorable Mention All-American honor in the process. She set a school record in her very first swim, winning the 100 backstroke with a time of 53.29 versus Indiana. That same meet, she touched second in both the 200 back (1:54.71) and the 400 IM (4:15.79). At Kentucky, she was second in the 200 back (1:53.22) and third in the 100 back (53.09). She scored 66 points at the ACC Championships with a fourth place in the 200 back (1:52.58), 11th in the 100 back (52.26) and sixth in the 400 IM finals (4:09.27). At NCAAs, she finished 28th in the 200 IM (1:56.88), 32nd in the 400 IM (4:12.76), and 16th in the 200 back (1:53.27). A star student, she was named to the ACC Academic Honor and the University of Louisville AD Honor Roll.
