Cards Set Record in 200 Free Relay on Day 2 of NCAA Championships

FEDERAL WAY, Wash. -- The No. 11-ranked University of Louisville men's swimming & diving team set a school record at the Day 2 finals of the 2025 NCAA Division I Men's Swimming and Diving Championships Friday night at at the Weyerhaeuser King County Aquatic Center. Â
In the 200 free relay, the Cardinals set a new school record of 1:15.74. Charlie Crush led off with a split of 19.43 to hand over a sixth place to Guy Brooks, who posted a 18.69 and took the Cards to third place. Dalton Lowe took over and boarded a 18.76 to maintain third and an anchor of 18.86 by Rian Graham put the Cardinals in first in their heat. The event was won by Tennessee with the Volunteers clocking in at 1:12.84 for a championship record swim.

The Cardinals stand in 17th place with 24 points. Texas leads the field with 190 followed by California (159.5), Indiana (146), Tennessee (114) and Arizona rounds out the top five with 111 points.

The Cards are back in action Friday morning with the 100 butterfly, 400 individual medley, 200 freestyle, 100 breaststroke, 100 backstroke, 3-meter diving, and the 400 medley relay on the program.
