2025-26: Filip scored 27 points for the Cards at the ACC Championships in Atlanta, He was 11th in the 100 back (45.88) in the finals and 14th in the 200 back (1:40.75). During the Dual Meet Season: Filip Kosinski swam an exhibition 200 freestyle at 1:41.81. He also placed first in the 200 backstroke with a 1:47.98 time. Kosinski finished with a split of 22.89 in his second-place finish for the 200 medley relay against Xavier. In the Notre Dame meet, Kosinski finished with a 31.76 split in the 200 medley relay. He finished second in the 100 backstroke with a time of 46.37. When swimming against Missouri, his team placed first in the 200 medley relay, where he swam a split of 22.06. He then moved on to the 100 backstroke and finished second with a time of 47.25. After that he went to the 200 backstroke and finished second with a time of 1:43.26. Against Cincinnati won the 200 backstroke with the time of 1:41.03. At the Texas Showdown, he touched third in the 100 back with a time of 46.23.
2024-25: At the Polish Open and Junior Championships, Filip won the 200M backstroke with a time of 1:59.94 and was third in the 100M backstroke (55.04). While there, he also split 51.05 in the 400 Free Relay, and 1:55.86 in the 800 Free Relay. He was on the fourth place 400 Medley Relay team, swimming the back split in 55.48. At the NCAA Championships in Federal Way, Washington, he finished 28th in the 200 back (1:40.77) and 38th in the 100 back (46.11). At the ACC Championships in Greensboro, N.C., he was 21st in the 100 back (46.47), 14th in the 200 back (1:41.19) and 42nd in the 100 fly (47.43). During the dual meet season, he won the 200 back versus Cincinnati, posting a time of 1:40.96. Against Indiana, he wo the 200 back, touching in 1:40.93 and added a fourth place finish in the 100 back (46.62) against the Hoosiers. He swept the backstroke events against rival Kentucky with a 1:41.96 in the 200 back and 46.96 in the 100 back. He won the 200 back at Missouri with a time of 1:41.58 and took 6th in that event at the Ohio State Invitational, going 1:42.82. In the meet with Purdue, he touched second in the 200 back (1:44.10) and third in the 100 back (47.24). In the meet against Tennessee, he won the 200 back with a time of 1:42.74) and was fourth in the 100 back (47.25).Prep: Filip Kosinski comes to the Cards from Suwalki, Poland. He swam for the AZS AWF Warszawa club team under coaches Pawet Slominski and Maciej Carta. Filip has acquired many accolades for his backstroke, including placing sixth in the 200m Back at the 2023 LEN U23 European Championships. He also earned two fifth place finishes in the 100m and 200m Back at the 2022 FINA World Junior Championships. This followed a bronze medal finish in the 200m Back 2022 European Junior Championships, as well as a fourth and fifth place finish the 200m and 100m Back at the 2021 European Junior Championships. Kosinski tallied up three finals appearances at the 2021 Polish National Championship, taking fourth in the 100m and 200m Back and seventh in the 50m Back.
