Bio
2024-25: At the NCAA Championships in Federal Way, Washington, Dalton swam the 100 back with a time of 45.25 to place 12th. He split 18.76 in the 200 Free Relay team that touched 14th and led off the 200 Medley Relay with a split of 21.02 to touch 10th. In the 400 Free Relay, he split 42.08 as the Cards finished 15th. In the 400 Medley Relay, he led off with a split of 45.25 to help UofL touch 12th. At the ACC Championships in Greensboro, N.C., he was 17th in the 50 free with a 19.19 in the finals. He split 18.76 in the 200 Free Relay as the Cards finished ninth. He split 42.17 in the 400 Free Relay that was also ninth. He led off the 200 Medley Relay with a 21.07 as the Cards placed fifth. He finished 18th in the 100 back with a 45.78 and was 13th in the 100 fly finals with a time of 45.69. During the dual meet season, he was third in the 100 fly at the SMU Classic, boarding a 46.50. He touched second in the 100 fly (45.97) and third in the 50 free (19.65) versus Tennessee. Against Purdue, he was second in the 100 fly (46.90) and fourth in the 100 back (47.46). At the Ohio State Invitational, he was second in the 100 fly (45.70) and fourth in the 100 back (45.96). He won the 100 fly at Missouri, turning in a 46.37 and was third in the 100 back (46.64). Against Kentucky, he was first in the 100 fly (45.69) and first in the 50 free (19.49) and was on the winning relays in the 400 Free Relay with a split of 42.68 and first in the 200 Medley Relay when he led off with a 20.98 backstroke leg. His efforts against UofL’s rival earned him ACC Swimmer of the Week honors.
2023-24: At the NCAA Championships in Indianapolis, Dalton was 27th in the 50 free (19.20), 26th in the 100 fly (45.35) and 32nd in the 100 back (46.08). He also swam on the 200 free relay for 14th place (1:16.15), the 11th I the 400 medley relay (3:03.26) and the 400 free relay (2:48.55) team that touched 15th. Dalton scored 61 point at the ACC Championships in Indianapolis. He was on the fifth place 200 medley relay team that finished fifth with a time of 1:23.44. He was on the seventh place 200 free relay (1:16.96) and the fifth place 400 medley relay team (3:03.83) and the seventh place 400 free relay foursome that turned in a time of 2:50.38. He was 11th in the 50 free (19.360), and 8th in the finals of the 100 fly (45.56) as well as into the wall seventh in the finals of the 100 back (45.68). In the dual meet season, Dalton won all four events he entered with firsts in the 100 back, the 100 fly and both the 200 medley relay and the 400 free relay. At the prestigious SMU Classic, Dalton was on the winning 400 medley relay team (3:07.76) and second on the 200 free relay (1:19.59). Individually, he was seventh in the 50 free (19.89), fourth in the 100 back (46.51) and 10th in the 200 back (1:46.07). In the meet with Notre Dame, he was fourth in the 100 back and was on the winning 200 medley relay (1:26.49) and the first place 400 free relay (2:58.18). At the Missouri Meet, he won both the 100 back (46.70) and the 100 fly (46.17) as well as winning both the 200 medley relay (1:26.21) and 400 free relay (2:53.12). He swept all his events against rival Kentucky with wins in the 50 free (19.37) and the 100 fly (45.33). He also helped the Cards win the 200 medley relay (1:24.84) and the 400 free relay (2:52.80). In the double dual meet with Indiana and Wisconsin, he was third in both the 50 free (19.73) and the 100 fly (46.24) and was on the second-place 200 medley relay team (1:25.09) and the fourth-place 400 free relay team (2:53.47). In the final dual meet of the season, Dalton swept all four events with wins in the 100 back (46.34) and the 100 fly (46.97) as well as both relays with a 1:24.98 in the 200 medley relay and a 1:18.75 in the 200 free relay.
2022-23: At the NCAA Championship, Dalton had a full slate of events for the Cardinals. He was a part of the All-American 200 Medley Relay team that went 1:22.43 for seventh. He put up a 19.40 50 free to finish 36th. In the 200 Free Relay, he helped the Cards board a 1:15.95 (the second fastest in school history with his split of 18.79. He was 20th in the 100 fly (45.38) and 22nd in the 100 back (45.80). He was also on the 400 Freestyle Relay team that earned HM All-American honors with an 11th place finish in 2:48.93 and his split of Dalton scored 61 points at the ACC Championships in Greensboro. He started the meet with a bronze medal swim on the 200 Medley Relay team that went 1:23.59 with his fly split of 20.06. He was a part of the school record setting 200 free relay that won bronze with a 1:15.90 and his third leg split of 18.93. He made the B-final in the 50 free with a time of 19.48 and 11th place. In the A-final of the 100 fly, he finished 7th with a 45.61 time. He also made the A-final in the 100 back, where he was eighth with a time of 46.12. He won bronze in both the 400 Medley Relay (3:03.37) with his fly split of 44.63 and also the 400 Free Relay that posted a 2:48.94 and his split of 42.53. During the dual meet season, Dalton won the 100 fly against Xavier, Notre Dame, Missouri, Kentucky. In the 100 backstroke, he won at Tennessee, Notre Dame, Kentucky, and Indiana. He was a mainstay on Cardinal Relays as well in both freestyle and medleys.
2021-22: Lowe continued to succeed for the Cardinals this year in the pool. At the NCAA Championships, Lowe recorded a personal best in the 50 freestyle (19.32) and helped the 200 medley relay (19.85) and 400 medley relay (44.38) team swimming butterfly to a 7th place finished. He also finished 18th in the 200 freestyle relay swimming lead-off (19.43). Lowe had a strong ACC Conference Championships winning the 100 butterfly (45.26) and finishing 12th in the 50 freestyle (19.37), 12th in the 100 backstroke (46.17), and 10th in the 100 butterfly (45.89). Swimming second, Lowe helped the 200 freestyle relay finish third (18.79). Lowe had seven top-3 finishes during the dual-meet season. He won two relays against Cincinnati: the 200 medley relay (butterfly) and 200 freestyle relay. He also finished 3rd in the 100 backstroke against the Bearcats. Against Kentucky, Lowe was runner-up in the 50 freestyle, the 100 butterfly, the 200 medley relay (butterfly), and the 400 freestyle relay.
2020-21: Lowe had a stellar first season with the Cardinals, qualifying for the NCAA Championships where he finished 22nd in the 100 butterfly (46.18), 37th in the 50 freestyle (19.76), and 39th in the 100 backstroke (47.62). At the ACC Championships, he placed 12th in the 100 backstroke (47.20), 14th in the 100 butterfly (46.40), and 19th in the 50 freestyle (19.72). He also earned gold after splitting 20.25 on the butterfly leg of UofL’s 200 medley relay. Lowe posted six top-6 finishes throughout the abbreviated dual meet season, highlighted by a pair of runner-up showings in the 100 butterfly against Kentucky and Notre Dame. He also took fourth in the 50 freestyle versus the Wildcats and third in the 100 freestyle against Cincinnati.
Prep: Lowe joins the Cardinals from Spring, Texas, the same hometown as fellow Cardinal Caleb Duncan. While doing his club swimming with Spring Swim Team, he was a multi-time Junior National and U.S. Open qualifier who placed seventh in the 50 freestyle and ninth in the 100 butterfly at Juniors West in 2019. Lowe finaled in three events at the Speedo Junior National Championships in Summer 2019 and is an eight-time Sectional finalist. During his career at Spring High School, he was an eight-time individual Texas 6A State Championship finalist and won the 100 butterfly during his junior and senior seasons. Lowe, who has earned NISCA All-American honors, holds best times of 47.09 in the 100 butterfly, 20.20 in the 50 freestyle, 44.55 in the 100 freestyle, 49.05 in the 100 backstroke, and 1:49.63 in the 200 backstroke.
