Louisville Baseball Announces Pair of Fall Exhibitions

The Cardinals will play at UIC on Sept. 27 before hosting Eastern Kentucky on Oct. 3.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Fresh off its sixth College World Series appearance, the University of Louisville baseball program will return to the diamond for a pair of exhibition contests this fall.

The Cardinals will travel to Chicago to take on UIC on Saturday, Sept. 27 at 12 p.m. ET, and then host Eastern Kentucky at Jim Patterson Stadium on Friday, Oct. 3 at 3 p.m. ET.

Dates and times for Louisville's annual Pizza Bowl series will be announced at a later date.

All fall games at Jim Patterson Stadium are free admission.

Louisville put together a 42-24 overall record in 2025, winning the Nashville Regional at No. 1 overall seed Vanderbilt before defeating Miami in the Super Regional round at Jim Patterson Stadium. The Cardinals then matched the program's deepest postseason run, reaching the bracket final in Omaha.
