LOUISVILLE, Ky. — The Louisville women's soccer team is back home and set for their first home match in three weeks this weekend. In the most recent game at Virginia Tech, Brooke Dardano collected her first goal of the season in the second half. She is third on the team in points with eight and she has six total assists. The six assists ranks third in the ACC. Mackenzie Geigle tallied her second assist of the season on Dardano's goal. She is second on the squad with 10 points this season.
This will be the 11th matchup all-time between the two schools and the Cardinals trail the series 4-5-1. It is their first meeting since 2022 where the Cardinals came away with a 1-0 win in Raleigh. In that win, head coach Karen Ferguson-Dayes collected her 200th career win with the Cardinals.
