LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The University of Louisville women's soccer team is slated to welcome No. 22 Florida State for an afternoon contest on Sunday, September 27. Kickoff is scheduled for 12 p.m. ET with the match to be broadcast on ACC Network.

Louisville (8-1-1, 2-0-1 ACC) is currently on a nine-match unbeaten streak, which marks a program best. Before Sunday's contest against California (3-4-4, 1-2-1 ACC), UofL was on an eight-match winning streak that tied a program record previously set in 2011 and marked the first time it had been done in the regular season.
The Cards are coming off their first draw of the season, a 1-1 final against Cal. Defender Eefje Bötjer scored her first goal in a Louisville uniform on a header off a corner kick from Amelia Swinarski in the 36th minute.
During Louisville's West Coast swing, it defeated No. 6 Stanford by a score of 1-0 and earned its first top 10 victory since 2019.
UofL is tied for second in the Atlantic Coast Conference with a 2-0-1 record in conference play for seven points. North Carolina is the league leader with nine points. Sophomore Karina Peat is the lone leader in assists in the conference with seven while Nicole Jodoin and Swinarski are tied for third with five.
While leading the ACC in assists, Ka. Peat also lands in the top 10 in the conference in points (19), goals (6), assists per game (0.70), game-winning goals (3) and points per game (1.90). She tallied the game winning goals in Louisville's victories over No. 6 Stanford, Kentucky and IU Indy.

Florida State is led by Sam Erbach, who transferred into the program from Xavier where she was named Big East Midfielder of the Year. This season with the Noles, Erbach leads the team in assists (4) and points (10) and is tied for the lead in goals with three.
