Louisville, Missouri, Cincinnati looking to shave time off their qualifying times
The University of Louisville and Missouri squared off in the Louisville First Chance Invitation Friday at the Ralph Wright Natatorium.
The meet, which is configured in prelims and finals spread over two days, is geared for swimmers to post faster times for better seeds at their respective conference championships in the coming weeks.

- Ilia Sibirtsev put up a 15:20.37 in the 1650 freestyle with John Bossler touching in 15:29.46.
- In the 200 freestyle, Fernanda Celidonio won with a time of 1:48.00. Madie Hall was second in 1:48.30.
- In the 400 IM, Duda Sumida touched in 4:14.29 and Paige McCormick went 4:16.20.
- In the 100 fly, Abdelrahman El Araby touched in 46.23 for the win and Greyson Alarcon was second 48.78.
- Adry Kasemets boarded a 2:18.81 in the 200 breast.
- In the 200 breast, Aidan Kreiley posted a 1:55.22 for the win. Luke Shourds was into the wall in 1:58.57.
- Tatiana Salcutan won the 100 back in 53.63. Krista Wheeler went 54.11
- Neal Morsi posted a 47.90 and Wylie Kruse turned in a 48.60 in the 100 back.
- Madie Hall boarded a 23.12, Olivia Livingston went 23.45 and Kelly Tichenor had a 23.64.

- Fernanda Celidonio won the 200 free by almost two seconds at 1:48.40
- In the men's 200 free, Kyle Worrell went 1:36.48 for the win. Santiago Aguilera was second in 1:38.41.
- In the women's 400 IM, Duda Sumida was into the wall first with a 4:17.98. Paige McCormick was second in 4:19.27.
- Louisville's Ryan Hogan put up a 4:04.03 in the men's 400 IM.
- Haridi Sameh won the 100 fly with a time of 47.57, ahead of Jeffrey Tuning's 48.96.
- In the 200 breaststroke, Adry Kasemets turned in a 2:18.23.
- Aidan Kreiley won the men's 200 breast, with a 1:56.69.
- Tatiana Salcutan set a meet record with a 54.17 in the 100 back. Krista Wheeler also broke the record with a 54.18 for second.
- Wylie Kruse won the men's 100 back with a time of 49.84.
