LOUISVILLE, Ky. – University of Louisville women's soccer welcomes Boston College to Lynn Stadium on Friday afternoon. The match will begin at 4 p.m. ET and broadcast on ACC Network Extra.
Louisville enters Sunday's match with a 7-4-1 overall record and they are 3-3 in Atlantic Coast Conference play.
Last time out against NC State, Kiana Klein recorded the first assist of her career on a cross that found Sarah Hernandez. It was just the second match that she has played in this season. When she entered the match at Notre Dame last Thursday, it marked the first action she has seen since Sept. 1, 2019 against Eastern Michigan. She played in two matches in 2019.
Hernandez scored on a header in the 65th minute for her second goal of the season. She also scored in the 3-2 comeback win at Miami. That goal marked her first since she scored the game winner in a 1-0 win over Lipscomb in the first round of the NCAA Tournament on Nov. 15, 2019.
With Hernandez now a multi-goal scorer, the Cardinals feature eight players that have recorded multiple goals this season.
Louisville's 2-1 loss to NC State last Sunday marked the first time that they have been defeated when scoring a goal this season.

Last Meeting (Oct. 4, 2020): Louisville defeated Boston College 2-0 at Dr. Mark and Cindy Lynn Stadium. Ten minutes into the second half, Sarah Hernandez sent the ball into the box, which bounced off a Boston College defender directly to Ekic, who went from her right to left foot and bended it past the goalkeeper.
