Women’s Soccer Places 16 on All-ACC Academic Team

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — 16 University of Louisville women's soccer student-athletes were named to the 2025 All-ACC Academic Team, the conference announced on Thursday. It is the fourth-straight year the Cardinals have had over 15 members on the All-ACC Academic Team after they had 17 last season, program-best 18 in 2023 and 17 for the 2022 season.
The players represented on the the team are defender Karsyn Cherry, forward Fina Davy, goalkeeper Erynn Floyd, forward Mackenzie Geigle, midfielder AG Gibson, midfielder Betsy Huckaby, forward Emersen Jennings, defender Brooklyn Lee, defender Grace Maddox, forward Karina Peat, defender Kiley Peat, defender Emma Kate Schroll, defender Lizzie Sexton, defender Hadley Snyder, midfielder Liza Suydam and midfielder Amelia Swinarski.
This past fall semester, the Cards registered a 3.774 team GPA. They had 24 student-athletes who earned AD Honor Roll status, which is a 3.0 GPA or higher in the semester. 24 student-athletes also earned Red and Black scholar status, which is a 3.25 GPA or higher in the semester. A total of nine student-athletes had a perfect 4.0 GPA in the fall semester.
Academic requirements for selection to the All-ACC Academic Team are a 3.0-grade point average for the previous semester and a 3.0 cumulative average during one's academic career. In addition, student-athletes must compete in at least 50 percent of their team's contests.
