LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The University of Louisville women's soccer team will travel across the country to face the No. 6-ranked Stanford Cardinal on Thursday, September 17 at Laird Q. Cagan Stadium. The match is set to kick off at 10 p.m. ET and will be broadcast on ACC Network Extra.

Louisville (7-1-0, 1-0-0 ACC) extended its win streak to seven games after taking down Pittsburgh (6-2-1, 0-1-0) in its Atlantic Coast Conference opener. After heading into halftime with the match tied 1-1, the Cards scored three goals while limiting the Panthers to one goal in the final 45 minutes. Liza Suydam, Karina Peat, Amelia Swinarski and Liz Eddy each scored a goal in the match.
In the contest, Ka. Peat continued to build on her hot start to her sophomore season, tallying a goal and an assist for a team-high three points. She leads the team in goals (5), assists (7) and points (17) and is currently leading the ACC in assists and assists per game (0.88) while also landing in the top 10 in goals, points, game-winning goals (2) and points per game (2.13).
Nationally, Louisville lands in the top 10 in the nation in assists (34), goals (29), points (92), corners per game (9.38), assists per game (4.25), points per game (11.5), scoring offense (3.63), shots per game (21.13) and shots on goal per game (9.63).
