High School: Floyd was a four-year starter at goalkeeper for Wilton High School, finishing with 39 career shutouts. As a senior team captain in 2020-21, she recorded 16 shutouts and allowed just seven goals all season helping WHS to a state championship. She earned All-America honors as a senior and was two-time All-New England, three-time All-FCIAC and coaches All-State selection. She helped lead her team to the state quarterfinals in both 2018 and 2019.
