No, 14 Cardinals Host NC State in Regular Season Finale on Thursday

Louisville will honor eight seniors before the game
LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- The No. 14 Louisville women's soccer team will wrap up the regular season against NC State on Thursday night in Lynn Stadium. The Cardinals are coming off a gutsy 1-0 win over Miami on Sunday afternoon.Â

Emina Ekic leads the Cardinals on the season with eight goals and seven assists for 23 points. Snyder ranks second on the team with four goals and one assist for nine points.   Junior keeper Gabby Kouzelos leads the team in goal with a 0.64 goals against average.  She owns a 12-2-2 record along with eight shutouts.Â

Head coach Karen Ferguson-Dayes is in her 20th season with the Cardinals. She has led Louisville to five NCAA tournament appearances, including a Sweet 16 appearance in 2011.

SCOUTING NC STATE
NC State enters the regular season final with an overall record of 8-5-4 and an ACC record of 3-2-4 ACC. The Wolf Pack wrapped up their home slate with a convincing 3-0 win over Notre Dame on Sunday.Â

Tziarra King leads the Pack in scoring this season with 12 goals and five assists for 29 points. Ricarda Walkling is second on the team in scoring with two goals and eight assists for 12 points. Jessica Berlin leads the team between the posts with a 0.81 goals against average. She has 42 saves and owns a 7-5-4 record in goal.      Â

Tim Santoro is in his seventh season at the helm of the Wolf Pack. Through six seasons, Santoro has guided the program to three consecutive NCAA Championship berths (2016-18), including a pair of Sweet 16 appearances (2016, '18).

 Louisville leads the series 3-2-1 over NC State. Last season in Raleigh, the Cards defeated the Wolf Pack 2-1. Louisville is 1-0-1 against NC State at home. The last time in Louisville, the teams battled to a 1-1 draw.Â
