Worrell Wins 100 Fly at USA National Championships

University of Louisville swimmer Kelsi Worrell won the 100-meter butterfly at the USA National Championships in San Antonio, Texas.
Worrell dominated the event, winning with a time of 57.27 just .03 off of her time from prelims the Pan American Game of 57.24.
The 4x100 relay team of Josh Quallen (51.72), Trevor Carroll (49.48), Nick Hasemann (51.06) and David Boland's anchor of 51.04 combined for 3:23.30 and ninth place.
Other Cardinals at the meet fared well. Andrea Kneppers finished 22nd in the 400-meter freestyle with a 4:14.67. Nolan Tesone went 4:26.66 in the 400-individual medley. The men's 4x100 freestyle relay went 3:23.30 posted by Josh Quallen (51.72), Trevor Carroll (49.48), Nicholas Hasemann (51.06) and David Boland (51.04) combining efforts for 9th place.
