Junior: Andrea Kneppers emerged as a prolific point scorer for the Cardinals in a break out season. She earned All-ACC honors in three events, was named to the All-ACC Academic squad and was named All-American in three events and honorable mention All-American honors in another. At the ACC Championships, she anchored the 200 medley relay with a split of 22.18 for 2nd place. Leading off the 800 Free Relay with a split of 1:45.62 helped a Cards to a 3rd place. She swam the 2nd leg of 200 free relay in 22.51, good for fifth place at the ACCs and made the A-final in 500 free, with a seventh overall finish, posting a 4:45.79 . She won the B final of the 50 free with a time 49.27 and led off 400 Free Relay with a 49.23 split and a third place. At the NCAA Championships she anchored the sixth place 400 Medley Relay team with a split of 48.53. She also anchored the second place NCAA 200-Medley Relay team, bringing it home with a 22.43 split. Also at NCAAs, she was the leadoff leg (49.02) for the 11th place 400-free relay team. At the Arena Pro Series at Mesa, she helped win the 400 Medley Relay with a 56.53 split. She also finished 9th in 100M free with a time of 56.22 at Mesa. At the USA Nationals, she won gold, swimming the second leg of the championship 4x100 Free Relay. Splitting 55.93. While there she was also part of the fourth place in 4x100-meter medley relay with an anchor leg of 55.78.

Sophomore: Kneppers had an impressive first year with the Cardinals as she was named to the All-AAC Conference squad. Kneppers is a member of the 800-freestyle relay school record holder with a time of 1:47.17. She finished third in the 200 freestyle in 1:47.63 and finished third in the 200-freestyle relay at the Championships. Andrea was a part of the USA Short Course Nationals as she placed 20th in the 200-free with a time of 1:48.13. Kneppers was the fastest Cardinal in the 100-free at the Michigan Invitational as she finished first with a time of 50.05. She also placed first in the 500-free along with a second place finish in the 200-free against Xavier.

Prep: Andrea Kneppers joins the Cardinals as an international transfer from the Netherlands. Kneppers is a multiple- time Dutch National Champion, as well as a national team member. In 2012 Kneppers was a member of the 800- freestyle relay team for the Dutch at their Olympic Trials. She swam in the European Youth Olympic Festival in 2007, 2008, and 2009. Kneppers is a veteran when it comes to competing on an international stage, she has competed in the Sette Colli in Rome, and the WorldCup in Stockholm.
