Women's Soccer Team Reaps Academic Honors

LOUISVILLE, KY - The University of Louisville women's soccer team has received the NCAA/adidas Team Academic Award for posting a team GPA of 3.0 or higher during the 2001-2002 academic year. The Cardinals posted a 3.19 team GPA for the year, while finishing with the highest win total since the 1997 season.
There were 16 members of the team listed on the Fall 2002 Athletic Directors Honor Roll for maintaining a 3.0 GPA or higher for the semester, with the team earning a 3.22 overall GPA for the semester. Other academic honors earned by the women's soccer team:
