LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- The University of Louisville will send three into finals tonight at the 2025 NCAA Women's swimming and diving Championships as competition continues at the Weyerhaeuser King County Aquatics Center in Federal Way, Washington.

In the 50 free, Julia Dennis went 21.25 to win her prelim and head into tonight as the second seed behind only Virginia's Gretchen Walsh, who went 20.44. Lucy Mehraban went 22.08 to finish third in her heat just behind Ella Welch's second place time of 21.98. Caroline Larsen was fourth in her prelim heat with a 21.78m heat with Gabi Albiero touching third in 21.63. Albiero tied as the seventh seed with Virginia's Maxine Parker with a 21.63 to make the championship final. Larsen made the consolation final as the 13 seed.

In the 500 free, Amelia Bodenstab put up a 4:40.55 to win her preliminary heat. Leticia Romao was sixth in the same heat with a time of 4:45.11. Summer Cardwell boarded a 4:44.20 to finish fourth in her heat. Daria Golovaty touched seventh in her preliminary heat with a time of 4:43.73. The fastest time of the field will be IU's Anna Peplowski, who went 4.33.93 to earn the top seed.

In the 200 IM, senior Tristen Ulett won her heat with a time of 1:55.87 as the fastest Cardinal in the field. Fernanda Celidonio was third in her heat and boarded a 1:56.20. Kim Herkle was second in her heat with a 1:57.26 and Rye Ulett went 1:59.31 to touch fourth in her heat. The top seed in the finals will be Stanford's Torri Huske, who went 1:51.53 to earn the top seed.
