Anouk Denton Signs Pro Contract with West Ham United

Denton played two seasons with Louisville before going pro
LOUISVILLE, Ky. — University of Louisville defender Anouk Denton is going pro as she has signed a contract with West Ham United Women of the Barclays Women's Super League in England. This is Denton's second stint with West Ham as she spent the second half of the 2020/21 season on loan with the Hammers.
Denton spent the previous two seasons with the Cardinals on the back line. She played in 28 games, made 27 starts and scored two goals in her Louisville career.
This past season, she played and started in 14 games for the Cardinals. She missed two games as she was called up to the U23 England Women's National Team training camp. She competed with the Lionesses as they faced Norway and Sweden during the training camp segment. With the Cardinals, Denton scored the game-winning goal in the win over #23 Memphis on Sept. 1.
