Erynn Floyd Signs with Racing Louisville FC

The four-year Cardinals standout will begin her professional career in town with Racing
LOUISVILLE, Ky. – University of Louisville goalkeeper Erynn Floyd has signed a professional contract with hometown club Racing Louisville FC. After playing four standout seasons in net for the Cardinals, Floyd will begin her professional career down the road with Racing.
Floyd's contract with Racing is for the rest of the 2026 season with a mutual option for 2027. During her time with the Cardinals, Floyd played in 67 games and finished with a 28-22-15 record. She made 179 saves and had a 73.4 save percentage for her career with a 1.03 goals against average in over 5,600 minutes played.
In her final season with the Cardinals, Floyd earned 10 clean sheets, third-most in the ACC. Her goals-against average (.780) was also third-best in the conference, while she ranked ninth in total saves (50). Her goals-against average ranks fifth-best in a single season in program history. Her 10 shutouts ranked tied for second-best in a single season in program history.
In the 2024 season, she finished the year with a 81.4 save percentage and 0.70 goals against average. The goals against average is fourth-best in a single season in program history. She earned ACC Defensive Player of the Week following her career-best 10 saves against No. 10 Notre Dame. It was the first time Notre Dame had been held without a goal in 25 matches.
