
Louisville Hosts Ball State in Exhibition on Saturday

Louisville and Ball State will begin play at 7:30 p.m. ET.
LOUISVILLE, Ky. - University of Louisville women's soccer will host an exhibition against Ball State at Lynn Stadium on Saturday at 7:30 p.m. ET. The event is free and open to the public.
The exhibition will mark Louisville's final tune-up as the regular season opens on Thursday against Western Michigan at Lynn Stadium.
The Cardinals feature eight seniors, led by sixth year goalkeeper Gabby Kouzelos. Kouzelos was named All-ACC third team last fall after starting all 12 matches and recording a total of 53 saves with a .803 save percentage. She recorded a career-high ten saves in a 2-0 loss at Virginia on Oct. 15 last season.
Kouzelos ranks first all-time in Louisville program history with 6,194 minutes in goal and 28 career shutouts. She ranks second all-time with a 1.00 goals against average. She has 192 saves in her career, which is just seven shy of tying Irene Elder (1986-89) for fifth all-time at Louisville.

Head coach Karen Ferguson-Dayes is entering her 22nd year at the helm. She is the winningest coach in program history with a career record of 187-168-37.
All women's soccer matches will have free admission during the 2021 season.
