SOUTH BEND, Ind. – University of Louisville women's soccer suffered its first road loss of the season on Thursday night, a 3-0 defeat to No. 24 Notre Dame in South Bend, Ind.

The Fighting Irish got off to a quick start as Sammi Fisher twice found Korbin Albert for goals in the first 10 minutes and Louisville trailed 2-0 early.
At the end of the first half, Notre Dame added a third goal and Louisville went into the locker room at halftime with a 3-0 deficit.
Louisville managed four shots in the second half and their best look was a right-footed kick by Nina Nicosia that was saved by Notre Dame goalkeeper Ashley Naylor.
