Cardinals Announce Spring Schedule

Louisville will host three spring matches
LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- University of Louisville women's soccer head coach Karen Ferguson-Dayes has announced the Cards' spring 2020 schedule highlighted by three home matches.
The Cardinals will start spring play on Feb. 26th against Bellarmine. Louisville will play the match at Lynn Stadium or at the Trager Indoor Facility depending on the weather.
Louisville will open up the spring slate at Saint Louis on March 21st. Louisville will return to Lynn Stadium on March 29th as they host Dayton.
The next week the Cards will travel to Illinois for a match on April 4th. The Cardinals will wrap up the spring season at home against Wisconsin on April 18th as they host Wisconsin at noon.
Louisville ended the 2019 season with a 13-5-2 overall record and finished fourth in the ACC with a record of 5-3-2. The Cardinals advanced to the second round of the NCAA Tournament before falling to No. 4 BYU in Provo.
Junior Emina Ekic led the Cardinals with eight goals and eight assists for 24 points on the season. Senior Brooklynn Rivers ranked second on the team with five goals for 10 points while sophomore Delaney Snyder was third with four goals and one assist for nine points. Junior goalkeeper Gabby Kouzelos finished the year with 13-5-2 record along with nine shutouts for a 0.92 goals against average.
Admission is free for each of Louisville's spring matches.
