Divers Compete in Virtual International Meet

Divers perform on Youtube against international opponents
LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- The University of Louisville Diving team kicked off the season with a virtual international diving competition comprising of countries all across the world. Louisville was the only team from the United States, competing against national team divers from Ireland, Great Britain, Australia, Sweden, The Netherlands, and Jamaica. The virtual "Stay At Home" competition was filmed locally at Ralph Wright Natatorium on Friday, December 11th and submitted to the meet director who compiled all of the dives from each country and submitted the competition to a FINA diving certified judging panel. "The Cardinal Divers are back in action this Thursday, December 17th for their first in-person diving competition against Cincinnati."Â
