LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- Former Louisville standout Erin Yenney was added to the Reign FC roster as a nation team replacement player last week.
Yenney made three appearances last season with the Chicago Red Stars. Prior to Chicago, Yenney played for Colombian side Santa Fe and Ostersunds DFF in Sweden.
Yenney enjoyed a stellar playing career at UofL, earning multiple Big East accolades and serving as team captain during her in time in Louisville. She earned a master's degree in engineering from the prestigious UofL Speed School and then began her professional playing career. She spent time in Sweden for a season before joining Colombian side Santa Fe, where she was a part of the league champion's team, in the inaugural season of the Liga Águila Femenina (Colombian Professional Women's Football League).
The midfielder saw her first action for the Reign in Saturday's 1-1 draw with Washington.
