LOUISVILLE, Ky. - Louisville righthanded pitcher Kyle Funkhouser and Cardinals head coach Dan McDonnell talked with reporters on Wednesday afternoon at Jim Patterson Stadium.
The primary topic of discussion centered around Funkhouser's decision to return to Louisville for his senior season after being chosen in the first round of the 2015 Major League Baseball First-Year Player Draft by the Los Angeles Dodgers. Funkhouser and McDonnell also discussed the expectations around the program for the 2016 season as well as the team's upcoming visit to the Dominican Republic, scheduled for Oct. 2-6.
