Carlos Claverie wins the 200-breast to highlight an evening of fast racing by the Cards.
Carlos Claverie picked up a win in the 200-breast as just one highlight in the second day of finals at the Arena Pro Series in Minneapolis in the University Aquatic Center Friday night.

The Arena Pro Swim Series at Minneapolis is a FINA-approved competition where swimmers can achieve qualifying times for the 2016Â Olympic Games.

In the 200 fly final: KelsiWorrell seventh in 2:12.58, Mara Pugh was 22nd in 2:17.74, Abigail Houck was 28th in 2:16.87.

In the women's 50-free, Kelsi Worrell was fifth with a time of 25.35. Freshman Mallory Comerford was 17th in 25.55.

In the men's 50-free, Joao De Lucca was seventh in 22.82, Trevor Carroll went 23.48 for 24th, Caryle Blondell was 29th in 23.48.

In the 100-back, Ashley LeClair was 12th in 1:02.86 just ahead of 13th place Alina Kendzior (1:03.00). Hannah Magnusonm was 21st in 1:03.80 tying Mackenzie Buss.

In the men's 100-back, Grigory Tarasevich was second with a time of 54.28. Aaron Greene was eighth in 56.12 and both were ahead of Michael Phelps' 56.12. Pedro Oliveira was 18th in 56.48 and Nolan Tesone was 21st in 57.29, just ahead of teammate Max Grodecki's 54.37 22nd place time. Josh Quallen was 28th in 57.25 and Christian Garkani was 32nd in 59.12.

In the 200-breast, Andrea Cottrell was seventh in 2:28.16 and teammate Rachael Bradford Feldman was 10th in 2:32.55. Lauren James was 21st in 2:36.61 and Manuela Sampaio was 27th in 2:36.44.

Carlos Claverie won the 200-meter breaststroke with a 2:10.86 and Thomas Dahlia was fifth in 2:14.55. Dexter Thomas was 22nd in 2:22.17 and Todd Owen was 27th in 2:22.37. Brennan Berger was 31st in 2:24.48.
