LOUISVILLE, KY - Top-ranked Tulane escaped a series sweep by defeating the University of Louisville 7-1 in the nightcap of a doubleheader Saturday. The Cards won the first game 6-4.

A solo home run by mark Hamilton in the second for a 2-0 advantage.
Jorge Castillo tripled to left with one out in the fourth and scored on an RBI single by Greg Taylor, cutting the lead to 2-1.
