2008: Led the team with six goals as a junior and was tied for the team lead in points with 13. Had the game-winning goal in the Cards' win over Cincinnati (9/19). Also added goals in Louisville's wins over DePaul (9/28), Miami (9/14) and Butler (8/22). Added an assist in the Cardinals' 2-0 win at South Florida (10/19). Named to AD Honor Roll and BIG EAST Academic All-Star.
2007: Scored a pair of goals and added an assist during her sophomore year. Helped her senior teammates to a victorious Senior Day with an insurance goal against USF (10/21). Notched the game winner with just under five minutes to go against Ohio (9/5). Had the primary assist on the first goal of the season in win over Loyola (8/31) and played well in the win over Purdue to capture the Boilermaker Challenge Cup and earn a spot on the All-Tournament Team. Was on the Dean's List and the AD Honor Roll.
2006: Wasted no time making her presence felt as a true freshman, scoring goals in each of the first two exhibition games at West Virginia (8/16) and in the Jenna Cooper Memorial Match against Nebraska (8/19). The made a splash in the season opener by tallying the game winner just 55 seconds into overtime to lift the Cards to a win over Ohio (8/25). Set up the first goal of the game and then scored what turned out to be the game winner at Western Kentucky (9/17). Picked up another helper in win over St. John's (9/29). Was a member of the AD Honor Roll.
High School: A four-time All-State selection at Sacred Heart Academy where she was named NSCAA and Gatorade Player of the Year in the state of Kentucky. Also played three years of basketball. Was team MVP three times and a four-time member of the Academic All-State Team. Twice named All-Region and three times All-District and started every game in high school. Was MVP of the Lexington Catholic Cup Tournament her final three seasons. Spent 10 seasons with Javanon and three season on the ODP squad. The Valkyries were ranked as high as #2 in the nation.
Personal: Born 10/27/87 in the Ville to Brenda and Ken Boling. Attended same high school as Olympian Mary T. Meagher and Jenna Cooper. Her biggest thrill in sports was winning the HS State Championship in a dense fog that limited visibility. People with the greatest influence on her athletically are Anson Dorrance, her HS coach Dave Griffiths and Cooper. Likes snowboarding, putting songs on her ipod and hanging out with friends in her spare time. Her favorite movies include anything with Will Ferrel, Finding Neverland, A League of Their Own and Blue Crush. Watches Will and Grace, Friends, Oprah and Gilmore Girls on TV. Aly Wagner and Clint Dempsey are her favorite athletes. Enjoys Italian food. Her favorite team is the US Women's National Team. Her dream dinner guests are Ellen DeGeneres, Jack Johnson and her grandparents.
