2004: Was forced to sit out the bulk of the season after injuring her knee in the first half against #18 Ohio State (9/4). Applied for and was granted a medical redshirt. Made the AD Honor Roll, C-USA Commissioner's List and was a Red and Black Scholar Athlete.
2003: Was second on the in goals(5) and points(15) while pacing the squad with five assists as a freshman. Enjoyed two-goal games against Morehead State(9/7) and Murray State(10/10). Tallied the game winners in back-to-back games vs. Morehead and at Youngstown State(9/12). All but one of her assists set up a game winner. Started all 18 matches. Named to the AD Honor Roll, C-USA Commissioner's Honor Roll, Dean's List and was a Dean's Scholar. Was a Red and Black Scholar Athlete. Earned the C-USA Commissioner's medal.
High School: Earned four varsity letters in soccer and one in cross country for the duPont Manual Rams. Lead her team in scoring her senior year as team captain, and was named All-District, All-Region and All-State as well as offensive MVP. Tallied 63 goals in 77 career games, including 21 her senior season. Won four state club titles with Javanon S.C. Also played on Kentucky ODP team for four seasons.
Personal: Born 5/3/84 in Louisville, Kentucky to Bob and Marti Kinny. Is studying political science. Would like to attend law school after college. Has a twin brother, Eric. Her dad ran cross country and track at Western Michigan and is her biggest athletic influence. Favorite athletes are Michael Vick, Michael Jordan and Kristine Lilly. Would like to have dinner with Jordan, Steven Speilberg and Madeline Albright.
