CARDINALS ROLL PAST EASTERN KENTUCKY

NOTRE DAME SERIES HISTORY
The Cardinals are 40-11 all-time against Notre Dame, including a 16-4 mark in South Bend. Louisville is 32-4 against the Irish since the start of the 2010 season.
EDDIE KING JR. KEYS 2024 SWEEP OF NOTRE DAME
Eddie King Jr. had a weekend to remember the last time these two teams met. King helped the Cardinals to a three-game sweep to end the 2024 regular season, going 6-for-10 with five home runs and eight RBIs on his way to ACC Player of the Week honors.
TEAM NOTES
MOORE FLEXES POWER AND SPEED
Lucas Moore has been one of the top players in the ACC this season and put himself in rare company during the Florida State series.
In Saturday's game two, Moore swiped four bases as part of Louisville's record-setting effort. The sophomore then hit a pair of homers, including a grand slam, in the run-rule victory on Sunday. Moore followed it up with another four stolen base showing versus Eastern Kentucky on Tuesday.
Moore became just the seventh player in Division I this season to have a game with four or more stolen bases and another with multiple home runs. However, Moore was the first from a Power Four program to do so, and the first to accomplish both things against a Power Four team.
CARDS HIT THE CENTURY MARK ON THE BASES
With its milestone day on the basepaths against Florida State, Louisville surpassed the century mark in stolen bases. The Cardinals have now stolen 100 or more stolen bases in 10 of the last 12 full seasons.
The Cardinals enter the weekend leading the ACC with 112 stolen bases. Louisville is 11th nationally and first among Power Four programs. The Cards lead the ACC with 60 stolen bases in conference play, more than any other team has attempted.
Lucas Moore leads the ACC with 37 on the season, while Alex Alicea and Zion Rose rank fourth and sixth, respectively. The Cardinals have three players with 20 stolen bases for the first time since 2018 – Josh Stowers (36), Jake Snider (24) and Tyler Fitzgerald (23).
