LOUISVILLE, Ky. - The University of Louisville lacrosse team will travel to South Bend, Ind. to face Atlantic Coast Conference rival Notre Dame in its regular season finale Thursday at 3 p.m.
OPENING DRAW
• Louisville enters the game with a 7-9 overall and a 1-7 mark in ACC play following a 17-7 loss to then-No. 12 Duke on Saturday.
• Sophomore Reese Whiteman paces the team with a career-high 24 goals and 30 points.
• Junior Negai Nakazawa is second on the team with 26 points and stands tied for the team lead with nine assists. Nakazawa is third on the team with 32 draw controls and has 97 in her career, needing three more to become the eighth player in program history to reach 100.Â
• Junior Rian Adkins is third on the team with a career-high 21 points and a career-best eight assists.
• Lauren Figas is also in the midst of a career-best season, standing second on the team with 18 goals and 35 draw controls.
• Graduate senior Ashley Osborne has played in 81 career games, setting a new school record. She leads the team with 25 ground balls and has accumulated 106 in her career, becoming the eighth player in program history with 100 or more ground balls.
• Sophomore Cate Kangas leads the team with 20 caused turnovers and stands second with 24 ground balls.
• Freshman Olivia Scroggie paces the team with 64 draw controls including a career-high eight in the 19-6 win at Xavier and the 17-3 win against Kent State.
• J Pleck (7-9) has posted 138 saves - including a career-high 16 against Vanderbilt while logging 800:44 minutes in goal this season. She stands third in the ACC and 12th in the nation in saves. Pleck ranks eighth on Louisville's single season list.
• Pleck has collected 258 saves in her career, becoming the seventh player in program history to surpass the 200 save mark. She is ranked fifth on Louisville's all-time list.
