Cards Advance to ACC Tournament Quarterfinals to Play Syracuse on Wednesday

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The University of Louisville women's lacrosse team will play No. 1 seed Syracuse in the quarterfinals of the ACC Tournament this Wednesday, April 24. The game will take place at American Legion Memorial Stadium with a scheduled start time of 11 a.m. ET. Jay Alter and Sheehan Stanwick-Burch will be calling the action on the ACC Network.
With the win over Virginia Tech on Sunday, the Cardinals grabbed their first ever ACC Tournament win and will travel to Charlotte, N.C. to play Syracuse for the first time in the postseason.
The Cardinals are 1-14 all-time against the Orange with this week's game as their first neutral site meeting. Louisville faced Syracuse in the regular season, falling 22-12 on the road on March 30.
The winner of Wednesday's quarterfinal will play in Friday's first semifinal at 5 p.m. against the winner of the Virginia - North Carolina quarterfinal. The championship game is scheduled for Sunday, April 28 at noon. All games will be televised on ACC Network.
