LOUISVILLE, Ky. - The University of Louisville women's tennis team won all six singles courts to defeat Kennesaw State 6-1 Sunday at the Bass-Rudd Tennis Center.

The Cardinals dropped the doubles point after Kennesaw State earned victories on court one and court two. The duo of Sophia Unger and Izabelle Persson on court two defeated Lillian Mould and Berta Miret 6-1. The Cardinals pair of Allie Gretkowski and Lika Peresypkina on court one battled against Ema Baraniakova and Taylor Dean before falling 4-6, clinching the doubles point for the Owls.

Louisville rallied back by winning on all six singles courts. Elena Noguero was the first to finish today with a 6-4, 6-3 win over Laura Nadaska. Uofl's Gretkowski beat Persson 6-3, 6-3 and Germany Davis defeated Sofia Madrid 6-4, 6-2 to put the Cards up 3-1. Snells clinched the match for Louisville on court one with a 6-3, 2-6, 6-1 win over Dean. On court four, Berta Miret rallied to beat Unger 3-6, 7-5, 6-4 and then Lika Peresypkina scored the final point on court two for the Cards with a 2-6, 6-4, 7-5 comeback win over Ema Baraniakova.
