PRONUNCIATION
2024-25: As a sophomore, Miret played mostly on Court No. 6 and won matches over UNC Greensboro, Austin Peay, Xavier and Butler. In doubles, Miret began the season paired with Elena Noguero, and they recorded a 4-3 record. The duo won four straight against UNC Greensboro, Dayton, Austin Peay and Indiana Wesleyan to start the year. On March 30th against Virginia Tech, Miret was paired with Lika Peresypkina and they won 6-3. This started a run of four straight victories for the duo, the next three came against Georgia Tech, Clemson and Syracuse. They ultimately ended the season with a 4-1 record. Miret and Peresypkina peaked at No. 89 in the ITA rankings on April 8th.
2023-24: Berta went 6-14 as a freshman in singles, spreading out her competition between Nos. 4, 5 and 6. In doubles, she went 6-13wit hfour sins at No. 2 and two at No. 3. In singles, she had wins against Kennesaw State, Austin Peay in non-conference play. Her first ACC win came with a two-set win over Virginia Tech and then Virginia. She picked up another conference win against NC State, in a 6-1, 5-7, 10-5 battle with Kristnia Paskauskas. She picked up another league victory over Miami. She was named to the All-ACC Academic squad.
Prep: Miret comes to the Ville after ranking as high as No. 46 for women in her native country of Spain. She was ranked as high as No. 6 in junior girls. She won the Spanish Team Championships in all ages for Juniors as well as winning the Catalan Championship as a highlight in her multiple wins in the National Tournament.
