Louisville Kicks Off Season with Pair of Tournaments

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The University of Louisville women's tennis team will be starting its fall season with a pair of tournaments this weekend.
Head Coach Mark Beckham will send seniors Berta Miret and Elena Noguero to the ITA Women's All-American Championships in Cary, N.C. Germany Davis will be traveling as an alternate.
The tournament is set run from Sept. 19-27 with the pre-qualifying round beginning on Saturday and Sunday at 9 a.m. ET. At ITA All-Americans, the pre-qualifying draw funnels into the main draw. The main draw of the championships runs from Wednesday, Sept. 23 through Sunday, Sept. 27.
The remainder of the team will be traveling north to Cincinnati, Ohio, to compete in the Cincinnati Invitational on Friday and Saturday. Louisville will be one of four teams competing including Cincinnati, Miami (Ohio) and Purdue.
