Cardinals Take On Eastern Kentucky in Season Opener

Cards are 3-0 all-time vs. Colonels
LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The University of Louisville women's tennis team begins their season on Saturday, January 20, as the Cardinals host Eastern Kentucky at 2 p.m. inside the Bass-Rudd Tennis Center.

Louisville was originally scheduled to host a doubleheader against both Lipscomb and EKU, but the Bison are no longer able to travel due to weather. Â

The Cardinals just have one returnee this season, with sophomore Jamilah Snells looking to build off her first campaign at Louisville. Transfers Lillian Mould, a senior from Oregon, and Allie Gretkowski, a redshirt sophomore from South Carolina, are the other two veteran presences on this year's roster.Â

The Cards have five freshmen this year: Ibifuro Clement, Germany Davis, Berta Miret, Elena Noguero, and Lika Peresypkina, all slated to make their collegiate debuts on Saturday.Â
