Cardinals Fall to No. 4 North Carolina

CHAPEL HILL, N.C.  – The University of Louisville women's tennis team fell 4-0 to No. 4 North Carolina Sunday afternoon at Chewning Tennis Center. Â
The Cardinals dropped the doubles point.  Germany Davis and Lucia Gallegos fell 6-2 to Anna Frey and Oby Kajuru on court three. Alanis Hamilton and Maddy Zampardo claimed clinched the doubles point at No. 1 with a 6-2 win over the Cardinal pair of Alice Otis and Lika Peresypkina.

In singles, No. 7-ranked Tar Heel Oby Kajuru picked up the first singles point with a 6-3, 6-1 over Davis. On court six, UofL's Lucia Gallegos fell 6-4, 6-1 to No. 111 Theadora Rabman. The match was clinched when No. 93 Anna Frey downed Elena Noguero 6-3, 6-3 on court three.
The Cards host SMU this Friday, March 20 at 2 p.m. at the Bass-Rudd Tennis Center.
