Louisville Hosts SMU for Friday Contest

LOUISVILLE, KY. – The University of Louisville women's tennis team continues its ACC run at home against SMU on Friday at 2 p.m. at the Bass-Rudd Tennis Center.
The Cards (9-6,1-6 ACC) are looking to bounce back from a two-game losing streak. Louisville is led by Juniors Germany Davis (8-4), Berta Miret (8-2) and Elena Noguero (7-2). Alice Otis and Lika Peresypkina have held their own on the top court in doubles facing some of the highest ranked ITA players when in conference play.
The No. 32 Mustangs look to collect their fifth straight win over Louisville. SMU is led by the No. 10 doubles tandem of Caroline McGinley and Amelie Van Impe. The pair was handed its first loss of the season against No. 14 NC State's No. 2-ranked court one pair of Victoria Osuigwe and Gabriella Broadfoot handed. McGinley is also partnered Ellie Mireles and they came in at No. 56. In singles, the Mustangs are led by No. 61 Sophie Llewellyn and No. 63 Van Impe.
