Cards Hit the Road to No. 23 Clemson

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The University of Louisville lacrosse program resumes Atlantic Coast Conference play as they travel to No. 23 Clemson on Saturday at noon ET.
The Cardinals (4-6, 1-4 ACC) play their third game in eight days and their seventh ranked opponent this season.
On Tuesday, the Cards fell to Ohio State 16-6 at the Ohio State Lacrosse Stadium.
Six different Cardinals were able to score but they were forced to battle from behind the entire game. Kylea Dobson was the first Card on the board for the fourth time this season. Hannah Morris earned her 126th goal of her career and a goal from Nicole Perroni extended her goal-scoring and point-scoring streak to 31. Allegra Catalano scored her fifth goal in three games and Kokoro Nakazawa found the back of the net with a free position goal. Izzy Seikel got in the scoring mix on an assist from Rachel Lifson. Lifson and Tiffany Natoli led the team with two assists apiece.
In goal, Sara Addeche guarded the net for 45:00 minutes and recorded eight saves with a .364 save percentage. Maggie Foster has one ground ball and two caused turnovers.

Clemson (9-4, 1-4 ACC) is in their first season as a program. The Tigers lost to North Carolina 17-8 on Sunday. Gianna New led all scorers with three goals as four different Tigers got on the board. UNC jumped out to a quick lead and kept Clemson to three goals in the first half. Sofia Chepenik and Hanna Hilcoff each scored two goals while Jalyn Jimerson led the team in assists with two. Ella Little had a team high five draw controls. Emily Lamparter protected the net for the first half and had four saves.
