
Louisville Faces Niagara on Monday in Final Road Game

The Cardinals and Purple Eagles will begin play at noon on ESPN+.
LOUISVILLE, Ky. – University of Louisville lacrosse travels to Niagara Falls to take on Niagara in its final road contest of the season on Monday. First draw is set for 12 p.m. ET and will broadcast on ESPN+.
The Cardinals got off to a hot start on Saturday at No. 4 Syracuse, leading 4-2 and 5-4 in the second quarter, but eventually fell 23-13 to the Orange.
Hannah Morris and Nicole Perroni combined for an impressive 11 goals in the contest at Syracuse. Morris recorded a career-high tying six goals, while also notching the 100th goal of her Louisville career. Perroni tallied a career-high tying five goals with one assist.
Caroline Blalock added one goal and an assist against the Orange to extend her point streak to 21 games.
Louisville enters the game with a 5-3 record in non-conference games this season. They are seeking their second road win of the year.

ABOUT THE PURPLE EAGLES
The Purple Eagles are 9-5, 5-1 in the MAAC this year. Niagara is on a two-win streak and is entering the game off an 11-10 win over Fairfield. The Purple Eagles are led by junior attacker Lois Garlow who ranks second in the MAAC in goals per game with 2.85 and fourth in goals with 40. Garlow also leads the team with 16 assists and 56 points. Senior goalkeeper Michelle Messenger doesn't let much by her in the cage as she ranks first in the league and 14th in the nation in save percentage (.492), second in the league and 21st in the nation in saves per game (9.28) and third in the league and 24th in the nation in saves (130). As a team, Niagara is 1st in the MAAC with 17.77 ground balls per game.
