MASTERMAN NAMED ACC CO-PLAYER OF THE WEEK
It was a weekend to remember for junior Cameron Masterman in the opening series against Bellarmine. The outfielder went 6-for-11 (.545) with three home runs and six RBIs and was named the ACC co-Player of the Week.
Ā
Masterman entered the 2021 season with two home runs and eight RBIs in his Louisville career before homering in each game of the series. He was the first Louisville player to homer in three consecutive games since Alex Binelas in May of 2019, and the first Cardinal to do so in the first three games of the season since records are available in 2000.

The Cardinals are 46-9 on their home field over the last three seasons, winning the 2019 NCAA Regional and Super Regional rounds at home to secure their fifth NCAA College World Series berth. Louisville set a school record for home wins with 36 in 2016 and the Cardinals have registered 30 or more wins at home in five of the last seven full seasons.
