Louisville improved to 10-1 in midweek games with the victory on Tuesday.
Louisville (32-9) improved to 10-1 in midweek games this season and scored in double figures for the sixth time in the last 10 games.
Zeke Pinkham led the offensive charge on Tuesday and got the scoring started in the fourth for the Cardinals.
After three scoreless innings from both starting pitchers, Zach Britton led off the fourth with a single and Alex Binelas worked a walk. Justin Lavey advanced both runners with a sacrifice bunt and Pinkham doubled the pair home with a double into the corner.
Drew Campbell followed with a double of his own to give the Cardinals a 3-0 advantage, and it would be more than enough for the UofL pitching staff.
Lavey put another run up in the fifth with a perfectly placed double into right and Pinkham tallied his third RBI one batter later with a groundout that scored Binelas to stretch the margin to five.
In the sixth, Tyler Fitzgerald added two runs to the ledger with one swing, tucking a ball just inside the left field foul pole for his fifth home run of the season. Pinkham then tacked on another with his third hit of the night in the seventh inning.
Cameron Masterman launched the first home run of his career in a pinch-hit appearance in the eighth and Binelas capped the night's scoring with a bases-clearing triple later in the inning.
Pinkham matched his career high with three hits on the night and finished with a career-best four RBIs. Binelas drove in three and scored three times in the win.
Jack Perkins (3-0) worked three scoreless innings for the victory in the first start of his collegiate career. Adam Elliott and Bryan Hoeing each tossed two innings without allowing a run before Jared Poland and Glenn Albanese took an inning apiece to close it out.
Louisville returns home for the weekend for a nonconference series against Alabama A&M. First pitch on Friday is scheduled for 6:00 p.m., ET at Jim Patterson Stadium.
